The Venice Residence creates a spacious, open living environment on a small but prominent corner lot, and a timeless architectural addition to the architecturally eclectic beach community of Venice, California. A limited palette of materials articulates the exterior including cedar siding, corrugated metal and integrally colored plaster. The double height volume of the entry and dining areas is the spatial focus of the interiors, and large sets of sliding glass doors create a direct relationship between the interior and the private rear yard. This home has received two National architectural design awards.
