United States Port of Entry – Calexico

This facility is a major border crossing point along the US/Mexico Border. It accommodates passenger & commercial vehicular traffic as well as pedestrian crossings. The facility includes security provisions required by the US Government while also acting as a welcoming point of entry to visitors from Mexico. The architectural design incorporates unique fabric roof elements that allow for natural lighting and create a dramatic architectural vocabulary.
